I am Jaslyn, your career coach, student, and teacher. I find joy in connecting with people and helping them reach their destination with a new career pathway and outlook on life. Their success is my own. Charles Dickens once said, “No one in this world who lightens the burdens of another is useless.”

I graduated from Virginia State University, a prestigious Historically Black College and University (HBCU). My passion for career coaching stems from a personal challenge. Fresh out of college in 2009 with a Human Resources degree, I faced the harsh realities of a recession: a tough job market, student loan debt, and the pressure to find a decent living wage. This experience ignited a desire to help others navigate similar struggles.

 

While my path took a turn – leading me to a successful career in Technical Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Management – the core desire to empower individuals remained. I now leverage my experience and insights to guide students and working professionals toward their dream careers, particularly in the STEM industry.

I understand the complexities of the job market and the power of a first opportunity. I'm dedicated to providing personalized coaching that equips individuals with the skills and confidence to land the job they deserve.
